Meetings

Several meetings involving the main Principal Researcher, Dr. Irena Creed, and members of ECCC, team members, PhD candidates, technicians, project coordinator, other principal researchers.

The 2-day meetings had the presence of all the principal investigators, their teams. The presentation sharing the results is attached to this document as supporting documentation. Other highlights and pending tasks to do that will be incorporated into the project governance for year 2 are as follows:

o Promote the use of our website for knowledge exchange and data sharing.

o Start committees to implement EDI, Data sharing agreements, standardization, and others.

o Planning for a meeting in the fall.

Society of Canadian Aquatic Sciences Annual Meeting (Bogard lab attended).

Irena Creed traveled to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in to conduct meetings with a PhD student, Purbasha Mistry, who is working on several tasks related to Objectives 2-4.

Irena Creed traveled to Sweden (Umeå and Uppsala) in May-June 2022 to give two invited presentations to the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), and to conduct meetings with Kevin Bishop, a collaborator based at the same university.
